Through the “Plant a Plant to Save Ecology” program, Vijay Charitable Trust aims to restore green cover, improve biodiversity, and support sustainable ecosystems by planting thousands of saplings across vulnerable and urban-degraded zones. Trees are more than greenery; they clean our air by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, reduce harmful pollutants that cause respiratory issues, and cool cities by providing natural shade. These benefits directly contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being — promoting cleaner air, stress-free natural spaces, and healthier lives, especially for children, the elderly, and underprivileged communities.

Each donation you make helps us cover the cost of saplings, organic compost, plantation drives, maintenance, watering, and protection of trees until they’re self-sustaining. For just ₹100, you plant one tree and contribute to years of oxygen, shade, soil preservation, and climate resilience. A single mature tree can absorb up to 22 kg of CO₂ per year and reduce air temperature by up to 2°C in its surroundings.
